The Frog's Observatory
Vivarium Optimum Conditions
- Day Range: 72°F to 82°F, 40% - 70% Humidity
- Night Range: 65°F to 70°F, 60% - 80% Humidity
Water Care
All water must be dechlorinated:
- Use tap water with the appropriate amount of ReptiSafe. The blue bottle is sufficient.
Misting
Use the green spray bottle. Avoid spraying directly on frogs. Spray plants, substrate, and hardscape such as the back wall, hides, and rocks.
Water Bowl
Refill using the water bottle kept with the vivarium supplies.
Spot Showers
Use the clear medical bottle infrequently.
Food
- Calcium Dusted: 2-3 times a week
- Vitamin Dusted: Once a week, on Saturdays
- Feed 3-5 items per frog daily, or as much as they will eat within 15-20 minutes.
Acceptable Main Food
- Dubia
- Crickets
- Calciworms (BSFL)
Treat and Rare Foods
- Wax Worms
- Silk Worms
- Horned Worms
Emergency Only Foods
- Mealworms
- Superworms
Maintenance on Vivarium
- Water Fill: Daily, in the morning
- Spot Cleaning: Weekly
- Deep Cleaning: About every 6 months
